It was an honor to provide a talk today and engage with the bright students of the University of Khorfakkan, Department of Communication. Their enthusiasm and curiosity reflect a new generation ready to take responsibility for our planet’s future. I extend my sincere thanks to the university and its faculty for their warm recognition and commitment to fostering environmental dialogue and innovation.
It is truly inspiring to see students placing marine sustainability at the heart of their academic work — a sign of growing national awareness and deep environmental responsibility that aligns perfectly with the UAE’s vision for sustainable development. The Fujairah Research Centre is proud to collaborate with academic institutions that share this passion for science-driven progress and community impact.
Special appreciation to the team for their outstanding initiative through the project “Ru’ya – Vision for Marine Sustainability.” Their work demonstrates how communication, creativity, and environmental science can unite to amplify awareness and inspire change across our coastal communities.
Together, we continue to build bridges between research and education — empowering young minds to lead the charge toward a more resilient and sustainable marine future.
