Growing Green Minds: A School Garden for Sustainability and Learning

A new school garden initiative brings students closer to nature while teaching them about sustainability and environmental responsibility. The project includes a modern greenhouse where students can learn hands-on about plant care, growth cycles, and eco-friendly practices.

Students will actively participate in sowing seeds, nurturing plants, and observing how gardens grow. An on-site composting system will turn organic waste into nutrient-rich compost, demonstrating recycling and circular resource management.

The garden will focus on native and local plants, supporting biodiversity and creating habitats for pollinators and other wildlife. Using organic fertilizers and natural methods ensures a safe and sustainable approach to growing plants.

Through these activities, students gain practical knowledge, develop an appreciation for the environment, and learn to contribute to a greener future.
