DESCRIPTION:
Tree with single trunk up to 9 m. Leaves variable, oblong, usually with sharp tip, yellow-green, 4-8* 6-15 cm, with wavy or toothed edges. Flowers in loose clusters. Fruit egg-shaped, green when young, orange when mature, 2*2 cm long, base of fruit encased by conical cup (enlarged calyx), typical of cordia spp. Flowering from March to April.
