DESCRIPTION:
Annual, stems square, unbranched or branched at base, erect, up to 10(–25) cm, aromatic, covered with soft hairs. Lower leaves oval, 0.8–1.5 × 1–2 cm, on stalks as long or longer than the leaf, with scalloped edges. Upper leaves narrower with very short stalks. Flowers pale blue in 4–6-flowered whorls, tube about 8 mm long. Lower lip 3-lobed; upper lip with two short lobes and 2 longitudinal folds inside. Fruit oblong, brown nutlets. Flowering from February to April.
