DESCRIPTION:

Perennial, woody, up to 3 m. Stem and branches smooth and light brown. Leaves alternate, sometimes in clusters, on 0.5-1.5 cm long stalk, leathery, smooth edge, hairy on underside, oblong to round, 1.5-5* 2.5-9 cm, tapering to base, with notched round tip. Flowers 0.5 cm across, pale pink or white in loose clusters, petals narrowly pointed like stars. Fruit a deep yellow berry. Flowering from November to March.
