DESCRIPTION:

Annual, stems not branched, erect, up to 30 (-80) cm. Leaves alternate, elliptic, tapering to base, rounded tip with small notch, 1-3*2-6.5 cm. Flowers nodding on short stalks, in loose terminal sprays, yellow, up to 2 cm, calyx covering petals halfway. Pods perpendicular to stem, 1*3 cm, brown, cylindrical with round end and 1 cm long hair-like tip, persisting calyx surrounding base. Seeds heart-shaped, glossy, brown. Flowering from February to April.
