DESCRIPTION:

Perennial, tufted up to 40 cm. Leaves rigid, flat or rolled, 0.1-0.2* 2-15 cm, hairy rim at insertion (ligule). Inflorescence oval plume 3-10 cm long. Spikelets 0.1*0.3-1 cm, with 5-18 florets. Flowering from February to March.
