Tito Is Upset — And Honestly, I Understand Him

Today Tito found out how much it costs for him to travel on a plane. And let me tell you… he did not take the news gracefully.
This is a cat who fears nothing — not vacuum cleaners, not strangers, not even the vet on a bad day.But airline pet fees? That shook him to his core.
“Wait… I cost HOW MUCH?”
Tito gave me that look — the sharp, offended stare only a male cat with strong opinions can deliver.
You know the look that says:
“I weigh 4 kilos of pure muscle, I nap 18 hours a day, I sit quietly in a tiny carrier… and you’re telling me I’m more expensive than a discounted human flight to Istanbul?”
He walked around the room like an angry auditor:
No seat required
No meal needed
No onboard entertainment
No extra baggage
No emotional support… unless he decides to offer it
Yet airlines charge him like he’s flying in business class with unlimited snacks.
The Great Tito Interrogation
Cats don’t need words to ask questions.Tito just sat there, tail flicking aggressively, demanding answers with his eyes:
“What exactly am I paying for? WiFi? Champagne? A window seat? A cat lounge?”
I tried to explain:
Safety regulations
Airline policies
Weight limits
Standard procedures
But Tito wasn’t convinced. He looked at me like:
“Human… this smells like a scam.”
Living With an Upset Male Cat Is a Challenge
Tito didn’t ignore me — that’s too subtle for him.No, he performed a full dramatic protest:
Walked past me on purpose, brushing my leg just enough to show dominance
Sat facing the door like he was considering leaving the household
Refused his favourite treat
Let out one long “mrrrrr…” — the sound of deep feline disappointment
At one point he sat on my suitcase, clearly declaring:
“Nobody travels until we fix this injustice.”
To Be Fair… Tito Has a Point
Pet travel prices have become ridiculous.Cats don’t take space. They don’t make noise. They don’t demand anything — except dignity.
So why are the fees so high? Why is a small, well-behaved cat treated like oversized baggage?
Honestly… Tito is asking the questions all pet parents want answers to.
Until Airlines Explain Themselves…
Tito remains upset. And I’m stuck negotiating with a proud 4-kg king who believes he deserves:
Fair pricing
Clear rules
And maybe a loyalty program for good behavior
If anyone needs me, I’ll be trying to reason with Tito —a cat who now believes he’s leading a global movement for affordable pet tickets.
