DESCRIPTION:
Perennial, woody, stems straggly, spreading, up to 50 cm, densely covered with glands and very short hairs. Leaves up to 4 cm long, with 5–14 widely spaced opposite leaflets (one terminal), with rounded tips, often folded along the midrib and cupped. Flowers dark red, in loose 4–10-flowered sprays, upper petal hairy on the outer surface. Pods up to 1 cm, straight, slightly constricted between seeds, hairy. Flowering throughout the year, with a peak from January to July.
